Thornberry Music Studio is located in Sherman Oaks, CA. Armed with a Degree in Music from SDSU, I have been teaching for over 4 years, and during that time have taught hundreds of students, thousands of lessons. Some of my clients have included multi-platinum selling artists for Warner Brothers Records, Columbia Records, Big Life Management, and many more.
Lessons are tailored for individual students based on interest and desire. I don't use any pre-written books, with the exception of very young piano students (7 or under). This method of teaching was born from the belief that music is as individual as the student, therefore I have found it to be much more effective to make sure every lesson is taught with the students best interest in mind, not mine (nor a book authors) best interest!
As a professional musician, I have had success in Recording as well as Performing
As a session player, I have played on records that have sold millions of copies, including One Direction (Midnight Memories) and Robbie Williams (including the #1 hit in the UK "candy" as well as "Losers" from the same album). I have been called on by many producers, including Jacknife Lee (U2, REM, Snow Patrol, Taylor Swift, Silversun Pickups, Weezer), Warren Huart (Aerosmith, James Blunt, The Fray) and many others.
As a Live Performer I have had the honor to play hundreds of live shows on Keyboards, Vocals, Guitar, and Bass Guitar. In that time I have the honor to open for some amazing acts, including All American Rejects, Anna Nalick, Dear Tick, and many others. I have had the opportunity to play all over the country including festivals like CMJ, SXSW, and the Temecula Wine and Balloon Festival, and have been lucky to be on stages such as the outdoor stage at Universal City walk, the Henderson Pavilion, The Emporia Granada Theatre and many others. In 2014, I was able to headline a music festival in St Petersburg, Russia, amongst touring other cities in Russia.
In 2014, I released my debut EP "Any Given Destiny", with a Grammy Nominated engineer doing the co-producing/mixing. I played every instrument except drums.
