Pianokeyboard lessons for the electronic musician or keyboard player (Bushwick Williamsburg LES Ridgewood)
Take your electronic music production or keyboard playing to the next level!
We will study music theory including scales, chords, rhythm & harmony...this is the foundation of all music.
I will teach you how to work the keys effectively and play awesome melodies as well as how to come up with rocking bass lines and interesting chord progressions. Your fingers will become dextrous.
What I will teach you is guaranteed to raise the musical level of your production! It doesn't matter what genre you are creating - music, harmonic and rhythmic theory will definitely improve your sound drastically, and it won't take you long to see and hear the results.
I have been performing for over 20 years, have produced many albums of electronic music and am a composer of contemporary classical piano compositions...I would love to share what I've learned over 25+ years of piano/keyboard playing and study.

"I started taking piano lessons a few months ago with Isaac and I can definitely say I'm impressed with his approach and musicianship. I am a drummer and producer and was looking to increase my knowledge of the keyboard and am very happy with the progress I've made. Isaac has a great range of knowledge in both classical and jazz/blues/pop genres and really helps give me ideas about making creative use out of what we study during the lessons. The environment is very relaxed and I have definitely gotten a lot out of each lesson. Highly recommended." -Jon
"I have been a professional drummer for over 10 years touring and recording with various bands. Recently, I decided to compose my own solo music. Being that my musical background mainly comes from percussion I wanted to find a way to enhance my melodic skills. I was lucky enough to find a piano teacher like Isaac. He understands the creative writing process and teaches in a way that is fun and full of energy -- the ideal learning arena. Instead of throwing boring sheet music at me he was able to critique my own works and show me ways to improve and improvise on my own melodies making them more "colorful". The work he provides for me to take home and practice helps to focus & strengthen each lesson. After 6 months I hear a huge improvement - whether it's playing keyboards or producing electronic music. The skills that Isaac teaches are geared for any level and can improve all areas of your musical endeavors." - Kolby
"Piano has always been a dream for me to play so when I met Isaac at the dog run in Bushwick I finally made the leap. I've now been working with him for 6 months and am happy to say it is has developed into a blessing and a joy. Isaac is a young and radiant person, exuding a positive energy that seems to be bound to his love for music. Isaac is an extremely impressive and masterful piano player, a talent that is evenly matched by his eagerness and generosity to share his knowledge and passion. His teaching style is caring, attentive, professional and generous but never condescending or pedagogical nor does he ever rush through lessons. His house is warm and inviting and a block and a half from the L train. He is not only a great piano teacher but also one of the best teachers I've had yet. For the quality of the teacher I consider it to be a great deal. I highly recommend him!" -Lautaro

His unique mind and eloquent tongue allow him to simplify his extensive technical knowledge into concepts that are easy to understand and integrate, making him a great teacher. His open heart and exposure to working with a diversity of people, instruments and genres make him a very interesting person and great friend. I would take lessons just to spend an hour a week with this character." - Carolina

"Isaac is a wonderful teacher, He's dedicated, encouraging and passionate. I've had the pleasure of taking classes with him for more than 6 months and I have seen more progress with him than I have seen in years with other teachers. He listened to what I wanted to learn, and then designed a course of study specifically for me. His style is relaxed and professional at the same time. I look forward for his class each week. I recommend him to anyone who is interested in taking piano lessons." - Carlos
