Pretty uncommon species. Don't see em around often, especially in MI.
Must be kept solo.
Mostly relaxed attitude but will kill anything else in the tank. Will show aggression towards dogs and cats but not humans.
Good eater. Not skittish.
he has earned the nickname Jack "the ripper" for the fact that in the rare occasion he gets feeder goldfish...he kills them for fun. Bites them in half but doesnt necessarily eat them right away.
