The studio is located in Kenton in North Portland, 12 minutes from downtown. We will teach at the student's home for an extra charge.

Todd Bishop is a personable individual and has been a professional drummer and teacher for over 25 years. He is trained in jazz, classical, and marching percussion, and has field experience in a wide range of styles. He is the author of the popular Cruise Ship Drummer! drumming blog, and five related books, and has had educational pieces published in Drum!, a major drumming magazine. He has produced six CDs on Seattle's Origin Records, and for independent release. He currently leads the Todd Bishop Group, a jazz quartet which will be making a fifth tour of Europe in the spring of 2015.
