QR Code Link to This Post A lot of people on here advertise that they want to work on music with others. Whether they want to jam or get together in a band or whatever. Often times you will see links to audio (and/or video) for samples of the music they play. And some of the examples are really good.

On the other hand some people will record with their phones or another low quality audio recording device. A lot of people have no examples of their music at all.

If you ever wanted to know how to make a better recording at home watch this FREE 34 minute video to learn how. The video covers what equipment you need to record with and adjusting settings on your equipment to make sure it all works together. There is an emphasis on the importance of a click track, gain staging...or setting your inupt volume, and then actually recording individual guitar and vocal tracks over a "click" track. You'll end up with a pretty good scratch track you can use to let your fellow musicians know what you think something should sound like.

And, a Scratch Track is the foundation for recording a full-blown multi track music recording.

If you want to know more about the process of recording at home, get a drink, kick back and give it a watch.
