Professional Handymen Needed for Sub Work (St. Louis amp St. Charles)
Professional Handymen needed for sub work in St. Louis City, St. Louis and St. Charles Counties.
Who We Are:
We are a brokering company that finds customers via various forms of advertising including online and print advertising. We are NOT a lead generation service that charges contractors for leads with no promise of work.
How We Work:
1. The customer contacts us with a request for work needed in their residential or commercial property.
2. We call them back to gather additional information, discusss pricing and accept a preliminary payment that covers a 2hr minimum.
3. We create a work order and contact a prescreened and qualified technician that will be most appropriate for the job. Once accepted, you will have 24 hours to visit the property and perform the work. If you arrive at the job and realize that it will go over the 2 hour minimum, give the customer your best estimate for how much longer the job will take. All work must be documented via the work order sheet, with before and after pictures and time logged with a start and end time. If the job does not exceed the 2 hour minimum, your job is done. If it does, you will have a link on your phone or tablet to collect payment via credit or debit from the customer on site. COLLECTING OR REQUESTING CASH PAYMENT FROM CLIENTS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Payment:
You will be paid $50 for the initial 2 hours (this includes your travel fee) and $25 per additional hour. If you are required to make a trip to the hardware store for materials, you will be compensated $20 for one trip. Trips for tools are not compensated.
Service Area:
We understand about fuel costs and therefore asks our contractors not request service areas that farther than 20 miles. You can select additional service areas but additional fuel costs will not be included.
Payouts:
Having a Pay Pal account is preferred. If you have a Pay Pal account you will be paid within 24 hours after confirmation from the customer that the work has been performed to their satisfaction. Confirmations are usually made the same day.
If you do not have a Pay Pal account, you will be paid via company check in the mail. Checks are mailed each Friday.
We are currently working on direct deposit and once this service is available direct deposits will be made within 24 hours after confirmation (excluding weekends).
We are only looking for the best and most professional tradesmen in order to offer our customers the highest quality service, so if you do not meet ALL of the following requirements, you will be excluded.
Requirements
1. At least 5 years experience in each trade that you would like to be able to receive work orders on. (i.e If you want to receive orders for drywall hanging and finishing, you will need 5 years experience in that area. To receive work orders for anything pertaining to electrical, you will need 5 years experience in that area and so forth.)
In order to verify your experience, you will need pictures showing your work in that specific trade and 2 verifiable references.
2. Tools for the trades you are requesting work for. You will be required to submit a tool list for each trade.
3. Your own reliable vehicle.
4. A smart phone with GPS and the ability to send and receive emails, sms messages and pictures. If you do not have this, you will not be able to receive work orders, submit orders or accept payments.
5. The ability to pass a background check. You will be required to send a copy of your current driver's license.
All jobs are 1099 and you will be required to fill out a w4.
We understand our requirements are stringent, but we are looking for quality not quantity.
