(6) 8 week old girl pups in need of very good / committed homes. Prospective homes will be ultimately adopting an 80 pound dog who will live 15+ years -- NOT just a puppy to entertain your kid for the summer. Adopters will pledge to return the dog to ME - not a pound or shelter if they cannot handle her anymore.

They are black in color - some with a few small white markings and some have a cream colored undercoat that barely shows through. They were orphaned at 3 weeks and have been socialized among myself, my husband, our kids age 7-14, and another dog.

They have been around ducks, geese and chickens without harming them, however I would never guarantee a dog to be poultry safe. I also prefer they go to a home that has no other dogs, excepting, perhaps a very old dog.

They will need to be exercised extensively, kept out of harms way in your absence and humanely housed (no cramped, dirty, extreme temp. living quarters and please never chain a dog unless you are walking him/her or are out in the yard attending) They eat decent quality kibble, with an occasional treat of egg yolk mixed with buttermilk and warm water (their first food after the puppy milk replacer) and a couple bites of liverwurst once in a while. They have mainly been outside, as it is warm, so potty training will be needed and responsible, attentive crate training is recommended. They will also need to be vaccinated.
