QUICK QUESTION FOR ATTORNEY DELAWARE SPEED LAWS (Delaware Memorial Bridge) hide this posting unhide
QR Code Link to This Post Got a "dubious" speeding ticket crossing the Memorial Bridge from NJ to Delaware.
Cop had an attitude . . . won't go in to it now.
Here in New Jersey, the law requires that the device used to measure (my) speed _must_ have been calibrated by "two different external devices" at the _beginning and end of each (six-hour) shift_ in order for the evidence to be considered accurate and admissible.
An attorney friend of mine here in New Jersey feels that there should be a like/similar law in Delaware. Can you confirm and point me to the exact statute?
BTW, I'm in my 60s and have _never_ had a point nor a moving violation.
