They do, for the most part, suck. There are always exceptions to the rule, but it's rare. 99.9% of all cover bands are over the hill folks who are trying to reclaim their youth. Sad but true. Cover bands like this are the reason the music scene is dead. I've seen them all: Boinkers, Kry, Knee Deep, sub-vinyl Jukebox, No Quarter, Pumphouse, soul stripper, etc., and they are all pathetic geezers who can barely complete a show due to geriatric ages. Sad. stay home and take your Gerital...!!!
