Ha-ha-ha!!! Looks like someone from the Elite Band (could it be the infamous Johnny himself?) flagged us for the posts shown below. So at least we let them know we are on to them. I guess no one is really responding to their ad any longer. Makes you wonder why they would continue to post it, but although it is far from being a free country anymore, CL remains a free and open place to waste your time, so JW, you go boy!

"I would not wish them good luck in their search because luck does not occur to old people long past their prime. They are just trying to survive day to day. The Elite Band has been around for quite a few decades and are as vintage as Johnny himself. I suspect that bad business mgmt has haunted the band from their start. The simple fact that Johnny has run this ad over and over shows how pathetic his situation has become."

"You've been running this ad for a long time, so I assume you aren't having much luck. Here are a couple of possible reasons why:
1. You're looking for a "a keyboard player for fill-in work." But this person must "be willing to rehearse once a week." You want someone to tie up a day each week for a fill-in position? No thanks.
2. You say "Pay commensurate with ability." So people in your band are paid different amounts based on YOUR assessment of their relative abilities? And if I determine that my abilities are better than yours, do I get paid more? Didn't think so. Again, no thanks.
