As a substitute teacher and Tutor in the bucks County region, I have years of experience with students who have lost their self esteem and their willingness to "try" in school. My strength is the ability to get the students who have given up and hide behind an excuse or behavior to realize what they can do with the appropriate one to one attention.

I have worked with emotional support students, teens in fundamental reading programs (such as reading 180) at their schools, students with processing issues and inner city students.

My approach is to first let the student regain their esteem and then teach them with their interests to foster an interest in reading and find themselves improving in school and in life.

My hourly rate is $35/hour.

I have tutored with Sylvan and Club Z but find that the one to one approach with a passion to engage the student is much more effective.
