QR Code Link to This Post Researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center are looking for participants for a mental health study. The purpose of this study is to learn more about the role of sleep in learning and memory.

The SPARCS study is looking for people:
-Aged 12-35
-Fluent in English
- Recently diagnosed with psychosis, (schizophrenia, schizoaffective or depression or bipolar disorder with psychotic features)
- Less than 1 year of anti-psychotic medication
- Participants must not have a diagnosis of mental retardation or serious medical problems
*All Participants must have no substance abuse in the past 3 months

Procedures include:
-Clinical screening
-Cognitive testing
-Urine drug screen
-MRI
-4 overnight stays in the hospital with EEG monitoring

Participants can earn up to $595 for completion of the study + travel expenses.
