Hearthside Fireplace and Stove is having our annual burn model and floor display model sale. I have previously posted other units that are up for sale as well. The gas insert up for sale here is a burn model that has been on the floor 3 burn seasons. The total usage of the unit translates out realistically to be about only a weeks worth of total burn time. You have to figure that we really only have the units on to show customers for maybe a maximum of 20 minutes at a time and our burn season is technically only from August to February. The unit comes with a full limited lifetime warranty from the date of purchase. Regency warranty information can be viewed at www.regency-fire.com/customer-care/warranty-registration.aspx. The Regency L390E is an IPI gas insert that produces 31,000 BTU's in NG formation and 30,000 BTU's in LP formation. The L390E is 84% efficient when operating on either NG or LP. The unit is currently in natural gas formation but can be easily switched over to operate on LP. The unit comes with the 3 sided low profile faceplate, old town red brick refractory, and variable speed blower. If you want to change the look from the current formation into full screen doors or the full arched screen doors, price depends on which style and what finish. Call Shawn for details. The appliance comes fully equipped with a thermostatic remote that controls the blower speed, flame height/heat output. If you would like you can also change the face to another choice offered by Regency. The price reflected up top of $1899 doesn't include the vent kit or the cost of installation. The vent kit is $300 and installation is $600 plus the cost of gas line and an additional charge if you would prefer to have an outlet installed within your current fireplace's firebox, if not you can just plug the unit into any local outlet. The unit only requires power to run the blower. You will have a certified heating appliance should you ever lose power to the home. The minimum fireplace opening measurements are as follows; front width 22" height 20" depth 16 1/8" and rear width at 16 3/4" needs to be at least 22" wide. The measurements of the 3 sided low profile faceplate have 2 separate measurements. The rear backing plate which covers the opening of your current fireplace measures as follows; 40" wide and 26" high. The front plate measurements are as follows; 36" wide and 24" high. If the height of the faceplate isn't high enough or the width not wide enough there is a simple and inexpensive fix. Inquire with Shawn about the details before ruling out this insert as a viable heating appliance for your home. The unit requires a minimum hearth depth of 14" in front of your current fireplace opening and a mantle that has a depth of at least 3 1/2" must be at least 15" above the appliance which starts at 20" of height from the floor of your current fireplace opening. The normal retail price of this unit with all the current options on it is $3199. If you have any questions call the store at
