I have a 2.5 yr old St. Bernard. He is my 2 yr old's best buddy, they have grown up together. I'm so conflicted with him because I know he isn't getting the attention he needs. He needs walked every day. We have 2 toddlers and are planning on fostering soon.
Due to his lack of attention, he is very high energy. Other than that he has no bad habits (does not do bathroom stuff in the house, would never bite, doesn't eat off the table, was crate trained, no cage aggression, no any aggression, will bark at the fence at strangers.. good with all other animals, has never harmed a fly (or chicken or goat). I'm looking for an experienced dog owner/trainer that might want him as a project or future therapy dog..? . Must know about St Bernards, understand he eats 6 cups of grain free food a day, and be willing to get him groomed or groom him regularly. Must have a yard that he can roam and must have more time than I do to give him the attention he needs. Must be willing to do a home check.
