Rosy Robin Ross

, USD

Hey there, I'm Rosy, and I'm one happy girl ! I'm a typical puppy that likes to run around and play with toys and other dogs. I'm pretty laid back too and will lay on my doggy bed and chew on a rawhide. I love attention and snuggling next to a human on the couch. My foster mom introduced me to treats and I learned to sit right away for them. Foster mom doesn't even have to say "sit" now cuz I just do it. After I potty outside I get to venture around the house for a few minutes. I like checking out the cats but all I do is sniff ! Foster mom says I'm such a good girl and it's a bonus that I don't chew up things that I shouldn't. I actually do very well in my spacious wire crate thru the night without a peep and no accidents. I have been kid tested with the neighbors and I did great ! If you're looking for a loving and smart 4 legged friend, then I'm sure you would love me to pieces!

These poor pups were dumpted in the shelter with little hope of making it out. OPH has super fosters who came to the rescue to help save this family. They have a skin condition that is easily cleared up with time, medicine and love. They still have a ways to go - but we want to share them with the public to see how far these cuties have come and to see how adorable they are. We will continue to treat their demodex in the rescue and - once they have their hair grown in - these cuties will be ready to go home!

Adorable, sweet and just in need of some TLC, these pups will be ready for adoption soon. They are about 12 weeks old and are currently about 24 lbs.

Demodex mange is not contagious. We have dogs all the time in the rescue that are being treated for it and none of them has ever been contagious. Our vets have all told us the same thing, sarcoptic mange is the one that is contagious.

Here is an article from VCA Animal Hospital. We don't do the skin scrapings most of the time but the article has good information in it. http://www.vcahospitals.com/main/pet-health-information/article/animal-health/mange-demodectic-in-dogs/741

Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. is a RESCUE that operates throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland, DC and southern Pennsylvania; OPH is devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of animals from high kill shelters in the southern region of the United States.
