Meet Roxie who is need of a forever home. Roxie is a stunning pit mix who is 2.5 yrs old. Roxie does not only carry good looks she is very smart. She knows Basic commands and is proud to act on them when told. She enjoys just about everything and will make a wonderful companion for someone who loves the outdoors such as hiking, jogging and walks. But there is more to this beautiful girl. She has a wonderful balance. Loves her people and is very loyal.
Roxie loves to cuddle is super affectionate can be chill she is just a big mush! Roxie is a little shy when meeting welcoming friends but it does not take her long before she is by your side wanting to be your new best friend. She presently is living with two teens at her foster home and wants to be part of their circle enjoying their company and friends they invite to the home.
Roxie would make an awesome only pet. If other dogs are in the home Roxie would be best with dogs who are submissive she would need a very slow introduction as she has become fearful of other dogs because of a little scuffle in the home. An understanding owner willing to take things slow and help her overcome some of that fear if other dogs are in the home would be best. Her foster is presently working on taking her for walks with their male dog hoping in time this fear will diminish entirely. Roxie was friendly and interested when meeting a litter of puppies. We believe this scuffle between dogs in the home has just set her back a little but we are hopeful things will move in the right direction with an owner who understands this situation. Roxie would need a cat free home.
She is truly a wonderful loyal girl with so much to offer to a family who is willing to make her part of their home and life. She is house trained, crate trained up to date on all her shots/vetting and is spayed. She weighs about 75 pounds.
