Electrochemistry-based rust removal service via an electrolytic process. Electrolysis is the least destructive and most thorough method available to remove oxidation(rust). Electrolysis removes no base metal and does not require grinders, wire wheels, scrappers, acids or sandpaper. It will not discolor or degrade the metal.

The process is not intended to remove paint, epoxy coatings, chrome, powder coatings, etc. It is solely intended to remove rust. If the item has oxidation that has saturated or formed underneath these coatings it is likely, though not guaranteed, the coating will be removed as well. It is important to note that oxidation of metal physically changes the surface of the metal. Extremely heavy rust removal has the possibility to alter the appearance of your item (most often for the better).

Item criteria:
â€¢ The item must be able to fit inside a 5 gallon bucket or be no larger than a basketball due to weight and handling restrictions. It is best if you can provide a picture and or dimensions of the item you would like processed.
â€¢ Typical materials that can be processed are steel, stainless steel, iron, cast iron.
**Exotic metals or metals such as: brass, copper, aluminum cannot be processed.
â€¢ Wooden handles or similar attachments need to be removed prior to servicing. It is necessary to have a bare piece of metal for best results (see picture).

Typical time required is between 3-7 days.
Pick-up/delivery is available for an extra fee.
