I'm unable to get a fresh install of 14.04LTS Ubuntu to run Davical, a CalDav source to work as a guest on VirtualBox. The only requirements to Davical are Postgresql and PHP5, so I installed the server with PostgreSQL and LAMP. then I installed davical from Ubuntu "apt-get install davical" and ran the .sh to install the database. All that went well, and checking according to installation istructions said all was up to date and set up right. Next I set the network adapter's configuration and ifconfig -a shows everything is set fine and all retains after restarts. I can't find anything from pinging in either direction. I know finding a davical expert will be next to impossible. I attended a blu.org (Boston Linux Users) meeting tonight and asked around and nobody had heard of it. This can possible be done through screen sharing or I'm in Dorchester on a main street along Franklin.
