Hello, Our 28-year old daughter was born with developmental delays, and she is the sweetest person! For the past couple years, she's grown more mature and is looking to make new friends, and even find a boyfriend... but she needs a buddy to help her navigate social situations and try new things to expand her comfort zone.

Looking for a friendly, sensitive, conscious person to take her out into the community (Marin and Sonoma Counties... sometimes SFO, East Bay, Coastal towns, etc.,) 1x-3x per week, for 3-5 hours, preferably during weekdays, between 10-3 PM. We can be flexible with schedule, depending on how well you get along with our daughter and what kinds of things you could do together. For instance, on some Friday nights there's a DJ'd dance in Corte Madera for adults with special needs... that could be an evening event you could do together.

Working on various Life Skills would also be part of your outing together... we can discuss all the details later. Mainly, just helping her trust in her intuition, making thoughtful decisions, and helping to plan the next steps in her life.

We pay $15 per hour (cash,) to start, $16 per hour after 6 weeks on the job, plus mileage while you're driving our daughter around. We also pay for your admission to attend movies, museums, YMCA, etc... we do not pay for your meals, so when you go out to eat you can order as little or as much as you wish.

We require:
Fluent English
Non-Smoking, no drugs, etc.
Safe, Reliable car and current auto insurance
Mellow driver... no speedy, swervey drivers
Positive, genuine, kind person who likes to laugh
Able to put yourself in our daughter's shoes -- to relate to her unique way of living in this world
Personal and Professional Refs
Willing to submit to a background check
