Author Solutions New Media is looking for a creative freelance filmmaker around the New Orleans area to conduct, shoot and edit high quality video interviews with one of our authors at their location. The final interview cut will need to be 90-120 seconds in length and follow our guidelines.

You will be required to hold a preliminary phone conversation with the author to discuss what it is they would like to capture in the interview and schedule a time to meet at the author's preferred location to conduct and shoot the interview that works for your schedule. You'll need to shoot creative B-roll and lay in stock music underscoring for the cut of the video.

The author will have two weeks to approve the videos or request changes. We will invoice on your behalf at the two week date. If the author has notes, we will invoice for you once you have implemented the author's requests.

Questions and guidelines will be provided as well as a representative from the company will be available by phone/email throughout the whole project. Filmmakers will be paid $600USD, payable upon completion of approved final cut. If you are traveling a long distance, we will compensate for travel appropriately.
