Ian Franklin is looking for a new guitarist and/or keyboard player who can also sing for his band - Infinite Frequency. Infinite Frequency is an eclectic-rock, funk & soul band. Tight pop arrangements with lots of room to expand jams when the time is right, and keep the dance floor groovin.

We had to say good-bye to our last guitarist as he and his family had to move out of town and we just released a new EP with an evolution to the band that was ripe with chemistry. Looking to rebound quickly and not loose the momentum. Ultimately, looking for a long-term band mate, friend and co-creator. Ian Franklin pays his band almost for every gig. Usually between $50-$100 per gig, but sometimes its more sometimes its less depending on the situation. Its always transparent and as fair as can be. The band typically rehearses weekly on Wednesdays from 7-11pm in Santa Rosa. The band gigs in the Bay Area 1-4 times a month and sometimes takes a month off to focus on developing the music or for vacations and such. Ian performs in various arrangements of the band too, from duets and on up. So ideally, you would be into performing as a duet when the gig calls for it. Ian also plans to take regional mini tours about every 3-4 months or so. For example, from SF down to Santa Barbara or LA and back on a 4 day weekend, or a 6-7 day trip up to Seattle and back, but typically its just a long weekend journey. Ian's top priority is making quality music for arts sake and having fun, but he is also a professional and always aims to elevate his music and the band's success. Ian is a music therapist by day and owns and operates his own music therapy firm. He enjoys facilitating large group music making sessions, co-songwriting workshops and bringing out the best in his band. Eventually, he also aims to cultivate a line-up for Infinite Frequency that eventually will support and co-facilitate motivational workshop performances for youth in school and camp settings, both throughout the bay area and while on tour.

There are currently about 20 original songs in our active set list and some covers too. Looking forward to working on a bunch of new material and preparing to go back into the studio to cut a new album early 2016.
