This job is a relatively simple job. We have an eyesore ditch in front of our house. This job would require building a very simple, short retaining wall right along the house side of the ditch in the front yard area. I'm thinking 2ft above ground and 1ft underground. A trench would be dug big enough for interlocking wall blocks to be placed into. Perhaps steel rods would be place inside the interlocking blocks to reinforce them, since this project is on a sloping front yard.

After the wall building part of the job it would then involve preparing the ditch for planting. This would involve removing rocks and putting some fill dirt there to grow some ground cover vine that is already growing so well on one side of the ditch ... the idea is turn this eyesore ditch into something decent looking.

This jobs would pay $12.00 an hour and if a trip to the hardware store were needed that would be compensated for fairly.

We would like the job done starting no earlier than 9:00 AM and finished each day by 4:00 PM M-F.
Of course, we would be paying for materials. The picture is just to give an example of a retaining.
