Hello, I imagine if you are reading this you may be facing some difficult decisions. I don't know exactly what you are going through but hope to offer some support and tell you about myself.

I am a single woman living in the suburbs of New York. I do not have children of my own. I became a certified foster parent a few years ago, hoping to adopt through foster care but that has not worked out. I did have 2 infants placed in my care. Each was a brief but wonderful experience and now my plan is to adopt a child to cherish forever.

I am part of a large family that includes my adopted brother and they are all looking forward to having more people in our lives to love and care for. They constantly ask about my progress with adoption. My profession is data management and I have been with the same organization over 10 years. My job will allow 3-4 months off initially to care for baby. After that I will work part-time from home to be close with baby.

I am independent and financially secure. I own my home which has a nice yard for lots of outdoor time and I own a vacation home near the ocean for summer trips and get-a-ways. I believe in the goodness of life and and endeavor to be positive, healthy and caring. I will strive to raise a happy, compassionate and confident child who will be loved and accepted for exactly who they are.

I have met with an adoption attorney and have learned much from her. She is very helpful and can answer your questions as well if you would like. I am willing to pay expenses that are legally allowed and to be part of an opened or closed adoption.

I hope and trust will you find an adoptive home that leaves you feeling at total peace with your decision. You are doing an amazing thing that can not be easy.
