Adorable miniature sofa for the *Spoiled* er, I mean, *Loved* Dog....haha....
I had gotten this for my little 10 pound Silky terrier, but she is just a bit too big to stretch out comfortably on it, so there is no use in keeping it any longer. I have only kept it around this long because it is hard for *me* to let it go...it is just so darned CUTE to look at! Looks just like the real thing! But we have another now, so I can now let go of it...
It is still in new condition, with the tags.....she may have hopped up on it a couple of times total, to check it out, but it ended up just sitting there. I was able to find one that fits her better, so we won't be needing this one.
The cover unzips & can be washed.....The back & wrap around side area is faux leather, with a pouch on the back to store toys, or whatever (a doggie TV Guide, or perhaps a TV Remote Squeakie toy....LOL)....the front area is soft, velvety material. I can't say enough good about this...it looks so much better in real life, as shadows & the faded pictures make the cushion look all warped & rumpled.....it doesn't look like that in real life. It is actually a deep, rich brown color. Also, it may appear larger in these pictures than it actually is, so check the measurements.....it's not all that big, but looks *huge* in the opening pic. (It's not tiny, just not as big as it may appear)
Measurements: Total outside frame is 25"L X 15"W, but the inside cushioned area is only 18"L X 11.5"W
Since my 10 lb. dog is a bit too big, I'd say it would be more better suited for a bit (but not much) smaller dog. 8 pounds or under would be probably ideal. Any of the small-tiny breeds.....
It is a beautiful chocolate brown color & very plush/soft, similar to velvet. This is the cutest thing! They are very expensive new off the internet. (I've seen this particular one priced upward of $139 + shipping! For real....hey, it's a *real*sofa, in miniature...but seriously, this would look classy in any living room!)
