Cat who Visited Grumps Cafe Wishes for New Home for the Holidays
Puzzle (also known as Grumps) wishes for new home. He was abandoned by his previous owners. He wandered around Crofton, near route 3 and often visited the shopping center that Grumps cafe. He is very grateful to be inside. He is friendly, loves to be petted while he rolls over, sits next to you, and purrs loudly. He can be picked up and held. Puzzle will flinch a little if you approach him to pet him too quickly, but once he realizes you're not going to hurt him, he quickly comes to you. I think it is because he was on the streets for so long. Puzzle is estimated to be around 5-8 years old, is neutered, vaccinated for rabies for rabies & FVRCP, & microchipped. He is missing part of the tip of his tongue, but it doesn't stop him from eating. Puzzle did test positive for both Feline Leukemia and FIV on the initial combo test. He had an Elisa test & that was negative (meaning he may have been exposed to the FeLV virus but fought it off, may have been recently exposed, or may have a false positive on the first test.) He will need a re-test in 6-8 weeks but I'm willing to sponsor that. Puzzle can live as an only cat, with other cats w/ FeLV, or with dogs since the virus isn't contagious to dogs. Adoption fee negotiable for an understanding home.
