Super Sweet Stocky Chihuahua for Adoption (Fuzzy Pawz Rescue)

Dubby came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue about 6 months ago after finding himself and about 20 of his closest friends at an animal shelter. Unsure of why he was there, why his friends started to disappear (they were adopted) and why he was left in the company of strangers Dubby became shy. The shelter knew that all Dubby needed was a warm lap and some sweet nothings whispered in his ear to find the zest in life again so Fuzzy Pawz was called. Fuzzy Pawz then found him what we thought would be a forever home; sadly that was not the case and Dubby came back to us.
This little adorable guy cannot catch a break and we want to find him the BEST most WONDERFUL home in the world!
What can we say about this little guy, hmmm. How about he is the sweetest boy EVER! Dubby is an 8 year old Chihuahua; the short, stocky variety and is totally adorable and did we mention that he is a sweetheart?
This little guy loves to lay with his person, cuddling on the couch is a favorite past time; he is content to lie around all day or be as active as you want. Dubby is very well behaved and he is pretty calm in the house and just wants to be with his human no matter what they are doing. He's house trained, great to walk and likes chew toys but not much else as far as toys. He rides well in a car with a seatbelt but whines a little if he's riding in a crate. He is not a fan of the crate for any reason.
He gets along great with other dogs and cats, he tolerate kids, but would prefer not to live with any. He seems to know basic commands but tends to ignore you if you let him. He would do best in a home that is calm and quiet (like he is); an older retired couple would be perfect.
We really can't say enough good things about the little guy. He just really wants his own human to love. He will need to go to a home with at least 1 other social dog as he gets lonely pretty quickly if he is not in the company of another dog/human all the time (remember where he came from).
