This is a survey for a research article about how the legalization of same-sex marriage and religious liberties affect each other. It could possibly be published. These questions are for gays and lesbians only. We would love to hear your thoughts on this. We need as many of these filled out as possible. Please email answers in numbered order.

3. What was your reaction to the legalization of same-sex marriage?



4. How would you describe people who disagree with same-sex marriage, specifically religious people?



5. Have you ever felt discriminated against by someone who claims to be religious? If so, explain the incident.



6. Have you ever been denied services because of your sexual orientation? If not, what would you do if you were denied service somewhere?



7. The Religious Freedom Restoration act has been passed in over 20 states. It will allow buisnesses to deny service if that service affects their religion. Basically, it excludes them from anti-discrimination laws. What are your thoughts on this act? What are some advantages and disadvantages you see in passing this act?



8. In Ireland, a bakery has been ordered to pay high fines and may shut down for refusing to make a cake featuring a pro-gay message. Do you think the bakery was justified in doing this or do you consider what the bakery did discrimination?


9. If you owned a bakery and were asked to make a cake featuring a anti-gay marriage message, would you do it? What would be your reasons for doing it or not doing it?


10. What could have been solutions, if any, to the bakery problem other than legal action?
