I do not want to find her a new home, but I must due to my severe allergies and asthma. I've tried medications, I have several air cleaners running, I take allergy and asthma medication, but nothing is bringing relief. I've checked with all of my friends and family and no one has room, or has the same allergy issues that I do so I'm hoping to find the right person for her to get the attention she craves.

Kenzi was born in the Summer of 2012 and I have had her since the fall of 2012 when I adopted her from an animal shelter in Marietta, GA.

She is roughly 3 years old. She is spayed, de-clawed, micro-chipped and up to date on all her shots with the last annual vet visit having just taken place on 05/05/2015.

More about Kenzi
She is a lap cat and does enjoy laying on me whenever she can (with my allergies I usually try to get her down and have her chase the laser pointer). She prefers to be pet/scratched on the top of the head the best and doesn't care to be pet many other places unless she is in the mood... like most cats. :-)

She is a talker and likes to meow and greet me at the bottom of the steps every night when I get home from work and she sleeps at the foot of the bed nearly every night as well. She sometimes wants to cuddle closer but with my allergies I usually guide her to the foot of the bed.

Recent Vet visit/allergies
She had her annual vet visit/vaccinations on 05/05/2015 . She also has a spot she is over grooming on her back, never to the point of any sores on her skin but it was noticeable that she had missing fur. The vet said it was not any type of mites or anything like that and that it could be seasonal allergies, a food allergy or a flea allergy. I had been using Frontline Plus which I was told wasn't that great on fleas so I had them use Advantage this time. Prior to the vet visit I had also switched her from Iams to Blue Buffalo in case it was a food allergy. She appears to have stopped over grooming and hair appears to be growing back.
