This pretty orange tabby Xena was adopted in March from a shelter because her 1st owner could not keep her. Once again she was shelter bound but some kind ladies offered to foster her but can only keep her short term. She is sweet and loving but is a little shy so needs someone to a week or so to adjust. She is no longer scared and is doing great. She was just at the vet for a check up and given a clean bill of heath. She received shots/rabies 6 months ago and received wormer and flea treatment, and was tested. She is also microchipped. Vetting records are available. She is 2 Â½ years old.

From her fosters:
Xena is a very sweet cat that you can pick up and hold. When I first started fostering her she was very scared, but she still let me pick her up and hold her. Zena has had 4 different homes in the last few months. Fist due to her owners allergies, then a parent not wanting an animal, and then not being allowed in a nursing home. Now she is at my house. All of these were beyond Xena's control. She is 2 years old and the sweetest, most gentle cat I have ever seen. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots. If anyone knows anyone interested in a new best friend, please let me know

What happened last was, a lady I know took a cat in 2 months ago and discovered she was allergic. She was going to give the cat to her granddaughter but the mother said no. The mother doesn't like animals. They were planning to take the cat to the shelter...I have all her original paperwork from the shelter when she was adopted the first time. She is very sweet. I can keep her in my sun room for a week or two until we can find her a home or a more permanent foster. She doesn't seem to mind dogs since mine were in the room with her.

We are helping her fosters find her a permanent home or another foster. She is running out of time and we know she would not like being in a cage and would not do well at a shelter again.
