Synth Players Wanted for Strange Magick (Portland)
I have 2 out of 4 songs recorded and ready for a demo to shop around for a label or publishing/spec deal.
What I need at this juncture is two or three really competent keyboard players who love the sound of layered tones, dreamy textures, and well-composed songs. I was in England during the OMD, Cocteau Twins, Stereo Lab, My Bloody Valentine, Ultravox era, and I want to get this sound reinvigorated in leafy Portland!
I need good brains to help arrange things musically. I can do all of the work myself, but it's much better to have an ensemble cast for interaction. Drum machines are favored for this line-up. They don't talk back!
Hurry, please. Males or females with silky voices preferred. I use a lot of delay on vocals and keys, so the second album may be called Traffic Delays. (A nod to Steve Winwood.)
