I work for a supportive apartment program housing and serving people with mental illness and developmental disabilities, and recently a woman moved out of her apartment leaving behind two young cats (less than 1 yr old). Unfortunately the kitties have spent a majority of their short lives confined to a dirty crate, but nonetheless they appear to be healthy and are very friendly! Currently they are staying in the empty apartment with food, water, and a litter box, but I have to have them out of the apartment by Friday. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs already, so I simply cannot take in any more animals. They are really sweet though, and I would certainly keep them if I could. Please help me to find a home for these two kitties, whom I have named Milo and Maxine! I really don't want to have to take them to the Humane Society where they will once again be locked up in a cage. Also, if I can find a rescue that will take them I am willing to donate and/or raise money to pay for their spaying/neutering if that is a barrier. I am also happy to volunteer my.
