Uncle Sam Bank (1940

1945 USD

These banks started being manufactured in 1923. The figure of Uncle Sam was added in the 1940's (WWII years 1940-1945) and placed in the right front under the coin slot. This was a patriotic war time coin bank. Made of steel.

It's made to accept nickels, dimes and quarters and is supposed lock at 25 cents and then can't be opened until you reach $10.00.

Have had it in the family for many years. Don't know if it.
