Betty is a sweet 2yr old Pitbull who is overwhelmed in the shelter environment. She was friendly, jumped up once or twice, was easily leashed up and eager to be heading out of her kennel. She flattened herself onto the ground as we exited the hall into the lobby, but followed along the chirpy coaxing and exited the building with her tail tucked. Once we continued to walk, she started to relax.

Betty was thrilled to meet the neutered male brittany spaniel tester dog and was immediately playful, bouncing around trying to elicit play. In the park, she followed the brittany about and was respectful of his disinterest in play. She showed no interest in toys.
On her solo leash walk, Betty pulled a little and showed lots of interest in passing dogs. She enjoyed sniffing along our route, but did not eliminate. Fine with all handling, no food guarding noticed. Betty would do great in a home with a stable resident dog, though it's not a requirement. As with all our bully breeds, Betty's foster will want to give her the exercise, socialization, and boundaries she needs. Betty will likely do fine with older kids.
