My name is Bobby, I am current network technician living in Minneapolis.
I have taken a job in China for a one year contract and need to find an temporary home for one year for my sweetheart of a dog Frank.
My parents and family are unable to take him in, so grasping at straws trying to find him a temporary home for one year, starting late January 2017 until mid February 2018.
Frank has no mean bone in his body (he's kind of a wuss). He's excellent with kids and other dogs, and the least aggressive dog you'll ever meet. He likes to snuggle at night, wrestle and be chased. He likes to play fetch, but will get distracted and drop whatever it is he is supposed to retrieve when he smells something more interesting. He would do better with a fenced in yard. He does not do well with cats however (just tends to freak out around them). He isn't too energetic, as long has he has a small walk or runs around for 20 minutes a day, he will spend the rest of the day sleeping. He will let you know if he needs something. Frank is a coonhound/border collie mix, weighs about 65 pounds. He is a rescue, so I've always been unsure of his age but I estimate around 5. He is up to date on his shots, and is neutered.
As in terms of compensation, I cannot offer much, other than pay for his food, vetting, and anything else that arises while I am abroad. If you're trustworthy and have the kindness in your heart to help a stranger and a dog in need, you'd make an excellent friend with Frank. I will miss him so incredibly much when I am gone and he needs a good home with care.
