I just moved to the area, I own two cabins around Talkeetna with plenty of space and am looking for a dog. I desperately want a Shepherd or Husky, perhaps a mix, without being price gauged by breeders. I want to give a great home to a puppy and I plan on having it for it's entire life. I had a Husky and Shepherd when I was a child so that's why I'm especially interested in the breeds, but I don't have the kind of income that allows me to spend 800+ on a dog.
