We are seeking a 25+ hours a week technician to service and install automated water meter systems (possibly some gas or electric) in the Boston area and some trips within about 100 miles. We will train for this industry specific position. Most of the work is on water metering systems for apartment communities. Qualified candidates are handy man types or individuals with mechanical / technical backgrounds. We do *NOT* work with live electricity.

You must be available 2-3 days a week 9-5 hours, week days.

This is a contractor position. The hours are not guaranteed but we have lots of work in the area.

Training pay (first week) is $15. Starting pay for this position is $20 per hour and travel expenses paid. We are looking for someone that communicates well, is easy to get in touch with through cell phone and email, and of course professional. You will be communicating with apartment personnel and entering apartments to service the equipment, so you will need to have a clean, neat appearance. A background check is also required. Must be able to pass a drug test.
