No Sales or Breeders or Exhorbitant Rehoming Fees Allowed....IF YOU KEEP POSTING THEM AND WE WILL KEEP FLAGGING THEM.
What do many of you not get about this statement ( IN RED)
(no animal sales or breeding -- rehoming with small adoption fee is ok -- info on free to good home ads)
IF YOUR AD DOES NOT LIST A PRICE/REHOMING FEE WE WILL FLAG IT.
WE WILL FLAG YOUR AD IF YOU ARE OFFERING A DOG/PUPPY FOR OVER $120.
WE WILL FLAG YOUR AD FOR CAT/KITTENS FOR OVER $65. NO MATTER IF YOU ARE A RESCUE OR NOT.
Stop selling dogs and cats on here. Breeders - stop posting your clearly planned litters. NO SALES means NO SALES. If you are a responsible breeder - one who is looking to improve the breed - then you belong to a breed club and you have people clamoring for your pups. You don't need Craiglist. However, if you are a backyard breeder, you are not in it for the breed or the dog at all. You are looking to make money. Get a job or a second job and stop treating dogs at a commodity.
If you had an oops litter do these two things:
-get your dog or cat fixed!
-find great homes for the puppies/kittens. Do the hard work that's involved, but do it off of CL. You are not rehoming these puppies/kittens, you are selling them...to God knows who, who will do God knows what with them. Be a better human being than that.
Rehoming means this - the dog/cat is a pet in your home, a family member, and for some really, really good reason you need to rehome it (for goodness sake stop saying that you need to get rid of it...would you get rid of your child?). YOU can ask for a small rehoming fee...however, think long and hard before you get another dog/cat. There are EXTREMELY limited circumstances in which it is in the pet's best interest to rehome it. Your lack of time is not one them...get a dog walker, enroll the dog in doggie daycare...figure it out.
This is a community based site they ask that people flag the posts that violate the terms of use, hit prohibited. And last but not least be a voice for these helpless animals and flag these litters and litters.
