Bengal Cats
After posting my letter to inform people about this, add. I received this threating letter.
My Attorney made me/us aware of something recently, so, I asked my lifelong friend who works for the FBI to check into it for me/us... It seems that you had made the deliberate decision to conjure up false statements regarding my/our cattery and Post Them on Craigslist a couple of weeks ago. I know this because, my friend with the FBI, upon contacting Craigslist's legal dept., verified that, in fact, You Were The Person Who Posted The Ad - that's right, Craigslist Named YOU.
I stated only the facts that I found on her website and reposted the ad, she still has running and what I did not find. Her ad is what I consider cyber bullying. Comments Like, Only Tica breeders are reputable. This is a false statement because there are many registries here in United States and in other countries; the first one was formed in England.
She also asked a federal agent to useh is name and job (badge) to basically bully my information out of them so she could have this. I do not know if this is legal. Most people have to get a warrant from a judge. Nevertheless, it is really bending the rules. This from a person that thinks it is ok to dog everyone in her ads. I never said do not buy from this person. It is up to you. I'm just writing this to let the public know that if this person wants to judge other people selling cats, that we have the right to post what we think about her cyber bullying add. If she now is licensed with any of the below agencies I think that would be wonderful. But at the time of writing the letter, through my research she was not. I think it is morally wrong that this person thinks it is OK to post ads down grading and giving false impressions about others. But you cannot defend yourself and others that are harmed from her ads without her trying to sue you. This is what you call a double standard.
I went to this person website after reading this add she had posted online.
(She is not endorsed by TICA or anyone else. Tica allows you to put there logo on your website. But you must agree to there terms.) You can voluntary register your cattery through Tica just like other registries. They have guide lines set that you have to follow for the wellbeing of the animals in your care and pay a small fee. I have one through TCA and you must follow the rules. This insure you as a customer know that the animals are be taken care of in an ethical way. No makes you do this, you do it because it's the right thing to do.
She has No State cattery license, NO TICA license or NO USDA license or even a local business license. I also went to the TICA site and she is not listed as a TICA breeder. But spouts off about "reputable breeder". Leading others to believe she is not a BYB or she a pet mill!!!! I have not been to either place that the animals are being held so I cannot say it's up to the person going to buy cats there to make an informed decision. No one owning a few cats has high call volume..
To me a byb is what large term breeders use to keep house pets from staying off the market. A pet mill is selling animals on a large scale in caged and unclean living conditions for profit!!! Not for the betterment of animals or the people buying the animals.
Be Aware, Bengal Kittens from Reputable, Ethical Breeders are ALWAYS Registered with TICA (The Int'l Cat Assn.)!! Just, a "Heads Up!" There is a unreputable Bengal Breeder (aka a BYB) with a Very Misleading Ad on BisMan, who takes advantage of unsuspecting buyers! Please Be Careful & ASK Questions!! I know many people that do not want to sell their animals with papers and people that do sell them with papers. This is a personal choice and nothing to do with the health or coloring or price of the kitten. If you are breeding, it is very import for breeding purposes to have these papers for your breeding records. Example: you are not inbreeding your cats. You can check the lines before buying the animals and know if they are too closely related before putting it into your program.

( member!! not registered cattery following the guideline set by the club.) There are Only 2 Reputable Bengal Breeders in ND (C.I.T.C. & Us) & Only 2 in SD (i.e. Asia Rose)! (As stated before there are many honest people selling their animals out there you should not have to choose from a couple breeders of her choice this is an America.)For your own safety, please be Very Leery of anyone else!!! In the past 2 years, we have heard from 7 buyers who have been scammed by these other individuals & we have recently come across 2 ads on BisMan listing cats for sale, claiming they are Bengals - Priced Under $500, which is a RED FLAG, when in fact, they are not.( You should always ask questions and should never let the price be the factor when choosing an animal get what you can afford and visit the animal and the people selling animals, look into their living conditions and see how they are treated after all your bringing a new member into your family.)
NATIONAL PET PRICING OF DOMESTIC BENGALS, USA:
Under $500 = A SCAM / AN UNREPUTABLE SELLER / A RESCUED CAT
UP TO $1500 = BREEDER QUALITY OFFERED AT PET PRICE
ADD $1000+ = INCLUDES BREEDING / SHOWING RIGHTS
Pllease Be Aware, NOT ALL BENGALS ARE THE SAME!! With Bengals, "You Get What You Pay For," as there is quite a Broad Price Range!! The more it looks like a Leopard, the higher the price; the less it looks like a Leopard, the lower the price, so, it's a matter of personal preference! This is very true. They are not the same so if you are buying a pet or breeding animal make sure the animal does in fact look like it should most reputable breeders rarely sale breeding rights because they are keeping the one top cat in the litter to better their lines. Most are sold for pets. It is the choice of the owner what they value there kittens at not some else's guide lines. This is what she chooses to promote.
Cats are not on premises. The person emailed me and said they are owned by two different people. They do need to be housed somewhere. So Where? If you are selling your sons cats, state you are selling your sons cats, if you are selling your cats state you are selling your cats or neighbors. This should be public knowledge so the person buying the cats/ kittens know where they are coming from and who actually owns said animals and can make an informed decision.
This letter is for public awareness that just because a person writes up an ad does not mean they are honest and that they can hurt others and the animals they are selling by informing and giving false impressions. This is not meant to stop you from buying animals. But to inform the public that some ads are misleading.
