Why your pet posting gets flagged. (Tri

Yes your lovely post about the pets you are selling got flagged...

Because you didn't bother to read the terms of agreement for Craigslist for pet ads before you tossed up the latest AD trying to sell your kittens/puppies.

1. NO SELLING, putting the words "FOR SALE" in the body of your ad, regardless of how much you are asking for them is kind of dumb. Do you shoot yourself in the face for fun also?

2. Using the words purebred, AKC, or any other word describing animals bred to a standard for a specific breed pretty much lets everyone know you are a breeder / seller of animals.

3. The rules for posting pet ads state you can ask a SMALL rehoming fee and must state how much it is if you are asking one, leaving out the amount of money pretty much says you are asking way too much, or just actually selling animals as a breeder. Asking for a deposit on an animal to hold it is a business practice that animal breeders use.... go ahead put that in your ad, it won't be up long.

4. Anything over $150 per animal is NOT a rehoming fee, you are just flat out selling an animal.

And all or any of the above can and will get your post flagged for
