3 weeks ago on the way to my sister-in-law's house I came across an injured and malnourished dog in the streets of Detroit. She had on a collar but no tags, I immediately took her to the vet to be evaluated and checked for a chip but nothing. Thankfully her leg was just sprained and she only had a few minor scratches. I took her home and cleaned her up. She's a wonderful dog and given her behavior I believe she was once someone's dog but was dumped. She's a sweetheart but needs proper socialization. She knows basic commands (sit, stay, down) but doesn't know how to play with toys. She just chases after them and runs back to you. I've been working with her to socialize her outside and she's doing beautifully on a leash. PLEASE consider giving this girl a home, I would absolutely keep her but my husband and I are moving overseas soon and cannot take.
