Woody McWooderson 4 months old (Kansas City)

Hi My name is Woody! My Foster Mom tells me that I am finally ready to find my forever home!! You see about 7 weeks ago I was hit by a car and broke some ribs and my pelvis. So I have had to be on strict kennel rest for the last 6 weeks!! Phew that was long, but I was cleared!!! I am a male 4 month old 16lb Shepard/lab mix (but I will get a lot bigger Foster Mom says). I have had a lot of practice at being in my kennel, I just need a little coaxing to go in. I don't mind cats and like playing with my 4 legged foster brother Jordan. I also love playing with both of my 2 legged foster brothers as well. But I am still a puppy and learning how to play. My foster mom is working with me on potty training, I am doing a fantastic job Foster Mom says!! Only one accident in the last 4 days! (and it was all her fault! I couldn't hold it any longer) :) If you are interested in meeting me and maybe making me a part of your family please let my Foster Mommy know! I love my Foster family but its time for me to find MY family!

Here is a little video my foster mom put together, watch it and you will fall head over heals with me!!

*Continued training opportunity: KCPP offers adopters a dog training program, created by Dr Sophia Yin, geared for both new adopters looking to start off on the right foot and owners that have been struggling with behavior problems. Using skills learned in this class, owners will be able to establish an effective form of communication with their dog using simple foundation behaviors. Soon you'll have your dog "saying please," instead of jumping, barking, mouthing, or using other nuisance behaviors.

$5 for KC Pet Project adopters
$25 for general public
(fee includes a take-home booklet)
