I have a very nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath home for rent-to-own, or straight purchase. This home has a 3-car garage, and is fully fenced. There is a great room with kitchen/dining/family combo, and an additional formal living/dining. Rent would be $1000/month, and to purchase would be $150k. The home is in a nice area, on a cul-de-sac, with no back neighbors. I would have to discuss deposit. I don't want to be unreasonable, but I also don't want to leave myself vulnerable. I am open to the idea of pets, but I would need to meet them, and the deposit would be larger (which I am sure you can understand). No smoking what-so-ever allowed. Utilities are not included in price (gas, electric, phone, water, trash). You could rent until you were able to buy. Banks seem to understand that people fell on hard times, and will loan to them again, if they have income, etc. I would require references from where you have lived (landlords). This is, was, my home for 10 years (I am original owner), so I am very partial to it, and want to see it in good hands.
