This architect-owned and designed beach house is located in the heart of downtown Bethany Beach, Delaware, just one block from the beach and steps from the main street of town. You can put the coffee on and go buy a newspaper, and be home before the pot is done brewing - and then drink it on the front porch while you watch the scene, or relax on the screened back porch looking out at the secluded garden. The owners did a complete renovation of the house when they bought it, including putting a large addition on the back, and last year raised the roof to expand the top floor. The house will sleep 12. Downstairs there are two bathrooms and three bedrooms that each sleep two. Upstairs is a third bathroom, and a great room with two twin beds (which you can push together if you wish) and two convertible couches that open into twin or queen beds, to sleep six - an ideal place to put all the kids or teens. One of the downstairs bathrooms and the upstairs bathrooms are separated into a powder room and a shower room, for our guests' convenience. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to cook, there is a washer,dryer, and the owners provide books, games, cable TV and DVD players upstairs and down, a stereo, and high speed internet. Outside the back porch you will find a deck, a hot tub, a gas grill, and a outdoor shower with an unlimited supply of hot water. Rents Saturday to Saturday for $3
