Awesome roommate to share awesome, fully furnished apartment with! Male or Female!
Can move in ASAP, start paying rent on day you move in. Looking for someone who can stay on lease until its done on July 1, 2015, or as long as you can, but must be at least two months.
Also, I would like someone close to my age (23). So lets say 20-26 years old.
DETAILS:
$1350/month, so $675 monthly share of rent. Utilities can vary; usually between $80-$110 a month per person. That includes Entergy, water, gas, and AT&T internet.
All rent and utility payments will be made directly to me or my mom, who handles all the bills.
2 BR & 1 Bath. Central AC and Heat. On second floor (out of two), and equipped with large wrap-around balcony! Fully furnished, aside from your room (If you have furniture, I am willing to rearrange).
Kitchen includes: four burner stove, oven, double sink, dish rack, microwave, coffee maker, full fridge, a toaster, [a few] pots & pans, ice trays and bucket, lots of dishes/cups/glassware, lots of utensils (eating & cooking), water filter, and a bullet blender!
Cable TV
Your room: right next to, but not connected to, the bathroom. Includes relatively large closet and secondary storage space. Sun window. Private door access to and from the balcony. Thermostat control. Closest to outside entrance of apartment.
Laundry is located across the street. It's $2.25 per load.
BIG SECRET: I know it's cold outside now, but when it warms up, we have unlimited access to the pool across the street! (I also own a ping-pong table)
I put off street-parking, which there is a lot of, but there is available space in the parking lot attached to the building too!
ABOUT ME:
My name is Colin Powell. I am a 23 year old Music Industry Studies senior at Loyola. I am originally from Philadelphia, PA, but I've been living in Nola for four years now. I play guitar, a little piano, and am currently playing bass in a band: 35 PSI (check us out!). I will be graduating in the spring, but will most likely be staying until the end of the lease (July 1, 2015). I like to have fun: go out to the bars, hang out with friends, listen to and play music, watch movies, do stuff outside; ya know, fun things! I also like hanging out and just relaxing. I am currently trying to quit smoking cigarettes, but I do not care if you smoke. To each their own. We can smoke other stuff anyway ;)
REQUIRED:
1. Good Communication. Basically, if there's a problem/issue, lets talk about it and figure out a way to solve it, not passively try to communicate through notes and other b.s. Also, I am very easy to talk to, so I hope you are too!
2. Must be cool with a dog, because I have one. She is an 11 month blue pit-bull, and the friendliest dog there is! Her name is Aili and all she wants to do is play and cuddle and give you some love. You would NOT be required to care for her, unless you really want to. She also is currently being kennel trained so do not worry about any of your stuff getting destroyed.
3. People person. I like to have friends over, and you are more than welcome to invite yours! I tend not to have too many people in the apt at once, but every now and then there will be a good size of people (good size = roughly 8-10).
4. Clean. I like to keep things [relatively] tidy. I understand completely that sometimes it builds up, and I'm no nazi about it. Basically, I avoid having it turn into a pigsty.
5. Paying the bills on time. No explanation needed.
