I have a privately owned, 2 bed 1 bath , second floor apartment i'm looking to lease out for July 1st. My husband and I just purchased our first home and need someone to take over our lease. Its a spacious, well laid out 2 bedroom, corner unit, apartment that has extras you won't find in any other apartment. It has a walk in mud room which is very spacious and great for storage! It has enough room for a dining room table, which is difficult to find anymore. The bedrooms are quite large and both have a double door closet. The carpets were just put in before we moved in 4 years ago. This building is quiet and clean! Our caretakers are absolutely amazing and clean weekly! It has a nice patio, large enough for a good sized propane grill and chairs. It also has a 2 stall garage with openers, unassigned parking lot spaces, and plenty of room on the street; lots of parking!
Some of the extras you will find are that we have painted, we have added another cupboard in the kitchen which provides a ton more storage, and custom built storage racks in the garage with 2 swing down work benches.
Its in a fantastic location! It is directly off of interstates which makes this a great candidate for college students (ND and MN!) Its located right by a bus stop, in fact you can see the kids getting on and off every day right from the apartment (Lewis and Clark Elementary is the school) and with it being so quiet, this is also a great option for an older couple/person. Its literally right by Cashwise, which is so convenient all the tenants walk over to get groceries! Its also located by Prairiewood Post Office and Petro Serve-which seems to have the cheapest gas most often! Even though it is centrally located, it is set back enough to be quiet and a nice neighborhood; great for going on walks and there is even a park a couple blocks down!
This apartment allows Cats. For your first cat its a $200 fee for a second cat it is $100 fee. There is NO monthly pet fee! You pay a one-time-only fee for your kitties. Dogs are allowed with a proper doctors note.
There is a large laundry room (coin laundry $1 per wash and dry) allowing you to be able to do laundry as often as needed.
The management is incredibly friendly and helpful! Like previously stated this is an independently owned apartment building; Henges out of MN. They do a full background check. The application fee for that is $30 per person who will be signing the lease (that is if you have renters history in MN and ND only. It bumps up to $40 per person if you have renters history in any other states). I do not believe this goes off of credit. Why my husband and I moved in we had zero credit. I do know they go off renter history and if you do not have enough renters history they will ask for a co-signer. The deposit for this apartment is $445.
