x0024750 Roommate for 2 bed 2 bath. Furn rm. Utilities included, unlim internet (2906 Willow St)

My new roommate fell through so I am now looking for a new roommate. I'm thinking for the new person to move in around June 24th this will give me time to make sure everything is extra clean and ready for move in :)

I live in a two bedroom, two bath apartment. The outside of the place makes it look like a dump but I swear the inside isn't and it's incredibly spacious (the rooms are the biggest I have seen in Anchorage, around 16x15)! The total rent is $1,300/month utilities included. The only reason I'm saying you would pay $750 is to include cable and internet (no data cap, I'm grandfathered in at GCI) plus the bedroom is partially furnished and the rest of the apartment is furnished. The bedroom has a table, bed and dresser in it (the TV shown in the picture is not staying). The place does not have a washer and dryer but there are coin-op ones right outside the door. In the interest of full disclosure, my landlady just let me know the rent will increase to $1400/month in August.

Speaking of pictures, ugh don't mind the sheet that my ex-roommate put on the window. He liked things dark and the sheet is now gone :-) there are blinds behind that sheet :-)

I am a 31 year old female and have a cat. I have a steady job and income and generally keep to myself. I would prefer to room with someone with no kids or cats since my kitty is a little shy; my landlady does not allow dogs in the building. Please no partiers at the apartment, I don't mind if you like to go out and have fun, I like to do that myself but the neighbors would complain if you brought the party back to our place. No drugs at all please.

I have had couples respond to my post and wanted to clarify that the rent listed is for one person. The landlady raises the rent if there are more than two people in the apartment.

I work 11:00am - 8:00pm Wednesday through Sunday so if you want to take a look at the place it would have to be outside of those times. Hmm I'm trying to think of something else...oh the bathroom that would be yours also doubles as the guest bathroom. You must have a steady job with a steady income as well, the quickest way to get kicked out is if you don't pay rent and pay it on time, my landlady is very insistent on that.

I think that's it, if you have questions, email is the best way to get a hold of me. Thanks for looking!

If you're still reading, obviously you're a little interested :-) Honestly, finding the right roommate is more important to me than getting $750 a month. If the rent is too much, lets talk about it. I'm willing to.
